With the VP of Membership position I had the opportunity to make changes in the chapter room and re decorate. The year before our VPM painted the walls this grey color which ate away at her already small budget. For $1500 I sanded and painted our cabinet, bought new hardware, and new tables. Since my budget was so small I knew that decorations would be hard. Wayfair, Amazon, At Home, Home Goods and Marshall's saved me and my budget. I was able get large pieces for a cheaper price by going to these places and being more strategic by separating my wants and needs. By using our platters and awards for decor I saved money and now we get to show off some of our national awards.
